BIOGRAPHY:

In 2013 she obtained the Bacherol Degree in Musical Performance/Flute, at Escuela Universitaria de Música of Universidad de la República, Uruguay. After that, she continued her studies in Argentina, obtaining the Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music with focus in flute interpretation at Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel de Falla" in Buenos Aires. Nowadays she is finishing her Master's Degree in Interpretation of 20th Century Latin American Music, at the Faculty of Arts and Design of Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, in Mendoza. She studied with renamed flutists as well as Santiago Bosco, Pablo Somma, Beatriz Plana and Patricia Da Dalt.

She has participated in courses and seminars with different teachers, including Coriún Aharonián (Uruguay), Gudrun Bähr (Germany), Santiago Clemens (Argentina), Jorge de la Vega (Argentina), Juan Pablo Di Leone (Argentina), Eduardo Fernández ( Uruguay), Karina Fischer (Argentina), Patricia García (Argentina), Wilbert Hazelzet (Holland), Hernán Jara (Chile), Guillermo Lavado (Argentina), Christof Loeser (Germany), Kersten Mc Call (Germany), Lars Nilsson (Argentina), Graciela Paraskevaídis (Uruguay), Jorge Risi (Uruguay), Philip Tagg (England), Marcelo Toledo (Argentina), Beatrix Wagner (Germany).

As a professional musician she has played as soloist and been part of ensembles, performing in different venues in Uruguay and the region. In parallel she has provided courses, workshops, lectures and commented concerts in different institutions in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. In recent years she has focused mainly on the Latin American repertoire of classical music, taking part in groups such as Itinerant (flute duo), Inaltu ensemble (flute, violin, guitar, charango and piano), Dínamo trio (flute, violin and piano) and Sincronías (flute, violin and piano). She is a member of Núcleo de Música Nueva, where she has participated as an interpreter of their concert series since 2001, performing numerous premieres of works by contemporary composers. She is a member of different stable groups dedicated to the creation and dissemination of Latin American chamber music.

She has participated in several CDs, both of cult and popular music. She received support from the National Music Fund (FONAM, Uruguay). She won the Stimulus Fund for Artistic Training scholarship, from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Uruguay), during 2016 she was awarded a scholarship for the Master's Degree in Interpretation of Latin American Music of the 20th century , UNCuyo (Argentina).
